Our First Foals of 2013 Have Arrived!

We're thrilled to announce the arrival of our first foals of the year! A flashy Roi du Soleil filly out of Santina (Sir Donnerhall) and a very handsome colt by Sandro Hit our of our St.Pr. Floradonna (Florestan x Donnerhall). He is a full brother to Simone, the 2011 North American Oldenburg Inspection Tour Champion Dressage Filly, and a Foal of Distinction. His full brother, the stallion Sandarach, was also a Foal of Distinction and is preparing for his stallion test in the fall.
We're expecting a great foal crop this year with foals by Fürstenball, Foundation, Sir Donnerhall, Johnson, Fidertanz, Hotline, Don Schufro and Wolkentanz II. Watch for them here and on Facebook!

Welcome to Hidden Springs Ranch

We are located in the high meadow country of Mountain Center, California.

We breed top-quality Oldenburg and KWPN dressage horses. Our mares come from proven dressage bloodlines and have been carefully selected for their outstanding conformation and gaits. Stallions are carefully selected and matched to each mare with consideration being given to conformation, performance ability, and temperament. Our breeding program is validated by the high number of premium foal awards received at breed inspections.

Our young stock has appeared repeatedly in the top five USDF Horse of the Year Sport Horse Breeding Awards as well as USDF All Breeds Championship awards. We have also received multiple California Dressage Society Championships and Reserve Championships.

Foals are raised together in large grass pastures in a safe, nurturing environment, allowing them to socialize naturally.

We also provide excellent care for horses needing lay-up, rehabilitation, retirement, and sales preparation.

Our amenities include:

• Irrigated pastures of varying sizes with all-weather shelters
• Paddocks with all-weather shelters
• 14’ x 14’ box stalls with straw bedding
• Daily turnouts to paddocks or grass
• High quality alfalfa, oat and timothy
• European style free walker
• Enclosed round pen
• Large arena with full size dressage court and excellent footing
• Horses checked throughout the day and groomed regularly
• Staff resides on premises
• Special services are available including supplements, medications, bandaging, icing, wound care and hand walking
• Traditional and holistic veterinary care as well as chiropractic services are available
• Transportation available
